Jack E. Reeder, 77, of Clay Township, passed away the morning of Thursday, June 4, 2026, at his home, from complications of Parkinson’s disease.

Jack was born in Grove City on Feb. 27, 1949, the son of the late Carl Sr. and Peg (Crouch) Reeder.

He worked at Pullman Standard until its closing and then worked as a township supervisor for Clay Township for several years. He also drove school bus for Campbell’s Bus Garage, proudly, for Moniteau students.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Alice M. (Devore) Reeder, whom he married May 23, 1970; his beloved dog, Ellie; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Rosemary and Dale Weaver; sister-in-law, Patty Kriebel; sister, Peggy McGallis; brother, Joseph Reeder; sister-in-law, Connie Reeder; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his two brothers.

REEDER — Private graveside services for Jack E. Reeder, who died Thursday, June 4, 2026, will be held at his burial at 2 p.m. Friday, June 5, at West Sunbury Union Cemetery, Hallston Road, West Sunbury.

The Young family of WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, West Sunbury has been entrusted with arrangements.
