Anna Mae Whitlinger
Anna Mae (Schilling) Whitlinger, 88, of Hampton Township died Tuesday in UPMC Passavant hospital, McCandless Township.
She was born March 23, 1921, in Evans City, to the late Louis and the late Freida (Burkert) Schilling.
Mrs. Whitlinger was a member of the Parkwood Presbyterian Church and the Hampton United Presbyterian AARP.
She worked for many years until her retirement in 1986 as a personnel supervisor at the Woolworth's in Shoppers Plaza in Hampton Township.
She is survived by her sons, David (Shirley) and James (June) Whitlinger and granddaughter, Rachel, all of Hampton Township; and her sister, Ruth Corfield of Evans City.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Oliver Whitlinger, in 1974; and her siblings, Emma Kennedy, Clara Kelley Dean, Louise Beahm, Herman Schilling, Dorothy Hanley, Iva Muntz and Helen Schilling.
<B>WHITLINGER</B> — Visitation for Anna Mae (Schilling) Whitlinger, who died Tuesday, March 9, 2010, will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Herbert R. King Jr. Funeral Home</B>, 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Parkwood Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Jeffrey Potter officiating. Please meet at the church on Friday.
