Jack E. Bero
Jack E. Bero, 94, of Zelienople died March 9 at the Passavant Retirement Community.
Born Feb. 17, 1916, in Wheeling, W.Va., he was the son of the late Frank X. and Phoebe (Jane) Bero.
Mr. Bero was a member of the Harmony-Zelienople United Methodist Church in Zelienople.
Jack was a World War II Army veteran who enjoyed volunteering at the Passavant Retirement Community.
He was a very godly man who enjoyed going to church every Sunday.
He is survived by a daughter, Jane A. Horner and her husband, James, of California; and two grandchildren, Danny and Mary.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou Bero; two brothers, Frank and Clyde Bero; and two sisters, Nellie Beseler and Ethel Bom.
