Rebekah E. “Beka” Woolner, 49, of Gibsonia, Richland Township, passed away Sunday evening, May 3, 2026, at UPMC Passavant-McCandless Hospital, following a battle with ovarian cancer that began in 2023.

Born in Pittsburgh on Dec. 19, 1976, she was the eldest child of Barry and Kathy (Mitchell) Woolner.

From an early age, she loved music, playing both piano and saxophone, though her greatest joy was singing. An accomplished vocalist, she sang with Pennsylvania Music Educators Association choirs at the Honors, Regional, All-State and All-Eastern levels, and continued to sing throughout her life in college, community and church choirs. She also loved to travel, spending two summers abroad during college and visiting more than 20 countries.

Beka was a 1994 graduate of Mars High School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Wheaton College, Illinois, an MBA from Geneva College and a Juris Doctor from Duquesne University. She worked as a manager in global trade services at Federated Hermes in Pittsburgh and was a member of Gospel Fellowship Church (PCA) in Valencia.

Surviving are her husband, David E. Bull, whom she married Aug. 27, 2016; her parents, Barry and Kathy Woolner, of Valencia; a sister, Elizabeth Pelczarski (Jacob), of Valencia; two brothers, Jon Woolner (Julie), of Coraopolis, and Chris Woolner, of Valencia; her sister-in-law, Lori Katte (Andy), of Cedar Grove, Wis.; her brother-in-law, Fred Bull (Teresa), of Oregon, Wis.; and her nieces and nephews, Christopher, Aurora, Ezra, Sean, Julie, Wesley, Bradley, Casey and Mackenzie.

WOOLNER — Visitation for Rebekah E. “Beka” Woolner, who died Sunday, May 3, 2026, will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at Gospel Fellowship Church, 161 McFann Road, Valencia. A memorial service will follow immediately at 3 p.m., with the Rev. David O’Leary and the Rev. Dr. Matthew Everhard co-officiating. A luncheon will be held afterward.
