Police investigating fraudulent tax return in Armstrong County
An 18-year-old woman had a fraudulent tax return filed using her name and Social Security number in Bradys Bend Township in Armstrong County, state police in Kittanning said Friday, May 8.
The woman was informed of the fraudulent return when the Internal Revenue Service sent a notice March 24. State police were called to investigate March 27.
Police are investigating the incident.
