ADAMS TWP — The Mars Area School District will hold computer-based concussion testing for student-athletes participating in winter sports through Nov. 27.

All student-athletes in 7th, 9th and 11th grades, as well as any who did not previously receive a baseline test, are required to submit to testing.

The testing schedule is as follows:

High School

Tuesday: Girls varsity/junior varsity basketball

Wednesday: Boys and Girls varsity/junior varsity swimming and diving

Thursday: Boys 9th grade basketball

Nov. 26: Boys varsity/junior varsity basketball

Middle School

Nov. 19: Boys 7th/8th grade wrestling

Nov. 22: Boys 7th/8th grade basketball

All testing begins at 3:15 p.m. in the respective school's computer lab. Student-athletes are asked to arrive 10-15 minutes early. Testing will be administered and supervised by the district's athletic trainers.

Make-up testing for boys varsity wrestling, girls varsity/junior varsity basketball, Co-ed varsity/junior varsity swimming & diving and boys 9th grade basketball will be held on Friday. All other make-up testing will be held on Nov. 27.
