Bronya Raisley

Raisley

Bronya Lee Raisley, 50, of Bradenton, Fla., passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2026.

She was born Oct. 11, 1975, in Butler.

Bronya graduated from Slippery Rock Area School District in 1994. She developed a passion for the insurance industry and became a successful entrepreneur known for her hard work and self-driven spirit. She will be remembered for her distinguished career at Erie Insurance, where she was honored with multiple awards for her achievements. Bronya’s love for sunshine, warmth and the ocean eventually led her to move south — to Sarasota, Fla., Charlotte, N.C., and finally, Bradenton, Fla.

Bronya’s faith was central to her life. She was devoted and caring, with a deep love of God, and she loved helping others. She enjoyed being at the beach, practicing yoga, working out, eating healthy, walking her dog and planting flowers. Bronya loved sharing stories about her adventures and had a passion for learning new things. She was also an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan and cherished attending games with her daughter, who was her greatest joy. Being her mom was her true passion.

Bronya is survived by her loving daughter, Kaitlyn Spangler, of Butler; her beloved dog, Boo; her parents, Robert and Cindy Dunn, of Chicora; her sisters, Alyson Dunn and Leila Dunn; her fiancé, Joe Robert, of Florida; her father, Jim Raisley; her grandmothers, Joann Gumpp, Marcia Todd (Gram) and Shirley Miller; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many lifelong friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Don Todd “Pap,” Marl Emerick and Darl Bish.
