Henry 'Hank' Stangle
Henry W. "Hank" Stangle, 84, of Trinity Living Center, Grove City, passed away at 10:37 p.m. Sunday after an extended illness.
Born Feb. 28, 1924, in Milford, N.J., he was the son of William and Sara Stangle.
Mr. Stangle received his education in New Jersey and retired from 3M as a jaw operator.
He was Catholic in faith and was a member of Elks Club Lodge 2129 of Princeton, N.J.
He was a World War II veteran of the Merchant Marine.
He enjoyed fishing, racing and hunting.
Surviving are his companion of 25 years, Margorie Larkin of Emlenton; her children Richard, Robert and James Larkin, all of Easton, Pa., Gladys Tillman of Emlenton, Patty Nicolaysen of Princeton N.J., and Joan Miller of Flenniton N.J.; a grandson, John Larkin of Butler; former granddaughter-in-law, Bobbi Larkin of Grove City; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a cousin, Richard Larkin of Emlenton.
As the last surviving member of his immediate family, he was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Willis and Andrew Stangle; and two sisters, Ann Conover and Sadie Leer.
<B>STANGLE </B>— The family of Henry W. "Hank" Stangle, who died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008, will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at <B>Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home</B>, 109 Emlenton St., Clintonville. The funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev.
