Alesia Pawluk Amos, 73, of Moneta, Va., formerly of Lyndora, died Monday, April 20, 2026, at her home.

She was born Jan. 23, 1953, a daughter of the late Gregory and Pauline Pawluk. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Alex Pawluk; and infant brother, Alexander Pawluk.

Alesia was a Realtor at Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia for over 30 years. She was part of the Books and Belles Book Club and was an avid reader. She also enjoyed backyard bird-watching and exchanging phone calls and letters with her loved ones. Alesia enjoyed helping the people in her life with any needs they had.

Surviving are her husband, Dennis; sons, Jason and Jeff; daughter, Kimberly; close friends, Bill and Sheree Shick; brothers, Victor, Peter and George Pawluk; along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A memorial service for Alesia Amos will be held Sunday, May 10, at Ss. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church, in Lyndora, immediately after the 9:30 a.m. Divine Liturgy. Father Yuri Bobko will perform the Panachyda, all are welcome to attend.
