The Butler Junior High boys track and field team defeated Fox Chapel and Mars recently.

The Golden Tornado downed Fox Chapel 91-41 and defeated Mars 96-36. Butler was led by strong performances from Byron Manchester, Steven Green, Tyler Rekich and Skylar Vavro.

Manchester won the 100 meters and 110 hurdles, Green the 400 and participated on winning relays. Rekich won the triple jump and long jump, Vavro the 800 and 1,600.
