I found an old picture of you and saw your smile

I read an old card given me years ago,

Time has changed, but the memories of you linger strong.

God gave us memories so we could gather flowers in winter

You gave me enough memories so I can have beautiful flowers in the garden of my mind at Christmas and every season of the year.

I can’t bring back the old days.

No longer in our lives to share

But in our hearts, you are always there.
