BUTLER TWP— Butler County Community College received a $1.2 million federal grant to improve the college's public safety training.
The grant from the U.S. Department of Justice allows the college to offer evacuation crisis management training. The money will be used to improve the existing Public Safety Training Facility and add technology in the curriculum.
