As stated previously, I believe that we need to ( in the words of Thomas Jefferson) "alter or abolish" our current state of Gov't.

I do not believe that our Gov't. is BY the People and FOR the People any longer, and the current leaders have no common sense when it comes to both tax alleviation and homeland security.

Personally, I question the Constitutionality of legislation that makes me not only pay income tax, sales tax, property tax, death tax, etc..., but also forces me monthly to pay for car insurance, house insurance, liability insurance, etc..., to a private owned company! If We the People were to take over the insurance activites in our Nation and USE them to pay for the required funding, We would eliminate every known tax and have a surplus. The problem is, politicians that create these laws that force us to pay them have stocks in them; so they are not going to give us Our money back easily. Just like with a DUI: there are probably about 5,000 People DUI suspended in Butler alone. After they have completed their suspension, they must pay $80 a month for an interlock device; the money whereof which goes not to tax payers, but to private personel. Why suspend a man for a year so that he can't work to feed his family and must therefore sell drugs or go on welfare? He can still drive drunk DUI suspended, but he can't with an interlock. And $80 x 5000 a month is a nice tax break! Unfortunately, the only vision our politicians have is how to shove more of Our hard earned money up their fat backends.

Also, and I hate to say it, we need to accumulate a massive civil military police force composed of US Citizens willing to volunteer for training for the event of a major attack whether it be terrorism or a conventional conflict with China. With our industrial base gone, and the majority of our food imported, we are in a very vulnerable position. And as I stated previously, if the welfare system collapses, there WILL be anarchy.

One last question, What do you People think about Obama's grand idea of doing away with the don't ask don't tell policy on homosexuals in the military? Do you think it will improve the morale of troops if they see homos holding hands and kissing each other on base?
