Ronald "Ike" Eichenlaub passed away Thursday, Sept. 9, at the age of 74.

He was married for 51 years to Carol (Fogel) Eichenlaub; she survives him. He was the father of Lori Duffy and Jay and Jenna Eichenlaub, who also survive.

A 50-year resident of Herman and Butler, he then moved to Morgantown, W.Va., and eventually retired in Dunnellon, Fla.

Ike served in the military, worked for Friedman's Supermarkets for more than 40 years and was a member of the St. Michael Roman Catholic Church.

<B>EICHENLAUB</B> — A memorial Mass for Ronald "Ike" Eichenlaub, who died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, at the St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Herman.
