Police reports as of March 13, 2026

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Butler

March 3 — Cierra Rose Hefferan, 23, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following a Feb. 27 incident. Police said Hefferan attempted to retaliate in a fight while police were at the scene.

March 3 — Jada Lynn Winkelman, 21, of Lyndora, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following a Feb. 27 incident. Police said Winkelman shoved a woman to the ground.

March 3 — Virginia Sara Kummer, 28, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a Feb. 23 traffic stop. Police said Kummer had a glass smoking device and 20 grams of suspected crack cocaine.

March 3 — Christina Maria Lang, 33, of New Castle, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following a Feb. 28 incident. Police said Lang struck a woman in the face multiple times.

March 4 — Hope Talbot, 20, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor theft following a Feb. 13 incident. Police said Talbot stole two phones.

March 4 — McKayla Jo McGinnis, 27, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief following a Feb. 13 incident. Police said McGinnis vandalized a vehicle.

March 4 — Austin James Caccamo, 29, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a Jan. 25 crash. Police said Caccamo had a blood alcohol content of 0.212%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Butler County Detectives

March 3 — Amanda Locke, 28, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following a Feb. 26 incident. Police said Locke had two crack pipes.

Middlesex Twp

March 4 — Kayla Lynne Schroder, 34, of Valencia, was charged with felony aggravated assault and misdemeanor simple assault following a Feb. 20 incident. Police said Schroder punched a woman in the face and bit her forearm.

March 4 — Guy Michael Black, 58, of Mars, was charged with misdemeanor bad checks following a Feb. 5 incident. Police said Black paid for services with a check that bounced.

March 4 — John George Struble, 26, of Indiana, was charged with misdemeanor bad checks following a Feb. 5 incident. Police said Struble paid for services using a check that bounced.

Penn Twp

March 4 — Paula Katherine Reiland, 77, of Oakmont, was charged with misdemeanor bad checks following an Aug. 22 incident. Police said Reiland bought a car using a check that bounced.

State police, Butler

March 2 — Michael J. McCandless, 41, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following a March 1 incident in Oakland Township. Police said McCandless got on top of a woman, punched her in the face and pulled her hair.

March 2 — April Lynn Hall, 44, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a Feb. 27 traffic stop in Parker Township. Police said Hall had crack cocaine and a smoking pipe.

March 2 — Andrew Jose Hemphill III, 18, of Slippery Rock, was charged with four misdemeanor DUI counts following a Nov. 30 crash in Clay Township. Police said Hemphill tested positive for THC.

March 2 — James Allen Branca Jr., 46, of Saxonburg, was charged with misdemeanor retail theft following a Jan. 14 incident in Center Township. Police said Branca stole $616.87 in merchandise from Rural King.

March 2 — Bryanna Leon Bowser, 30, of Emlenton, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession, drug paraphernalia possession and marijuana possession following a Feb. 11 incident in Center Township. Police said Bowser had crack cocaine, marijuana, THC wax and related paraphernalia.

March 2 — James R. Titterington Jr., 37, of Emlenton, was charged with four misdemeanor DUI counts following a Dec. 17 crash in Allegheny Township. Police said Titterington tested positive for THC and had a blood alcohol content of 0.17%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

March 2 — Mbegu Idi, 36, of Pittsburgh, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a crash in Jackson Township. Police said Idi had a blood alcohol content of 0.294%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
