Bonnie Lee Dupe, of Butler, passed away at the age of 84, on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026, at Chicora Medical Center, after several weeks spent with family and friends.

She was born on June 13, 1941, in Butler. She was the daughter of the late Marion and Bernice (Huselton) Oldaker.

Bonnie graduated from Butler High School in 1959. After being a homemaker for many years, she then worked in the communications center at Master Tech and was also employed both in the bakery at Giant Eagle and at Sunnyview Rehabilitation and Nursing Center as an aide.

She was a member of Oak Hills Christian Church, where she served as a deaconess, sang in the choir and was a member of the worship committee. She later became a member of Chicora United Methodist Church with her daughter and son-in-law.

Bonnie enjoyed playing cards with her card club, reading, using her tablet, her cat, action and martial arts movies (especially Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee) as well as spending time with her loving family. She was known as “Grammy” to all, whether they were related to her or not, and shared her love with many children throughout the years.

She is survived by her four daughters; her 11 grandchildren; her six great-grandchildren, with one soon to be born; her brother, Wesley; her many friends; as well as by her cat, Penny.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren.

DUPE — Friends and family of Bonnie Lee Dupe, who died Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026, will be received from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.

A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 23, at Chicora United Methodist Church, 203 Central Ave., Chicora, with Pastor Bev Roscoe officiating.

A luncheon at the church will follow the funeral service.

A private burial will take place in Rose Hill Cemetery.
