Miller

Daniel Clyde Miller, 78 of Scott Township, Lawrence County, passed away Monday, Feb. 16, 2026, at Edison Manor in New Castle.

He was born on June 19, 1947, son of the late Clyde L. and Ruby V. Farmer Miller, in Butler.

Daniel married Sylvia Jane Hull on Nov. 11, 1998.

Daniel was of the Methodist faith and enjoyed golfing. He worked as a contractor for many years until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Jane, at home; daughters, Kimberly Kunselman, of Ulysses, Pa., and Amy (Keith) McCloskey, of Butler; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by a daughter, Carrie Miller; brother, Ronald Miller; and sister, Carol Snelsire.

MILLER — There will be no public visitation for Daniel Clyde Miller, who died Monday, Feb. 16, 2026.

There will be a celebration of life picnic in summer, when we don’t need sweatshirts and snow boots. Further details will be announced at a later date.
