Police reports: Feb. 20, 2026

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

Adams Twp.

Feb. 3 — Tigh Andrew Bennett, 41, of Callery, was charged with misdemeanor accident involving damage following a Jan. 26 crash. Police said Bennett crashed into a vehicle then left the scene.

Butler Twp.

Feb. 17 — Police investigated a single-vehicle crash at 11:02 p.m. at the dead end of New Castle Road near Valley Lines bus garage. Police said Irene McCollough, 42, of Butler, struck an embankment and a tree. Her passenger, Zachary Miller, 30, of Butler, was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital with a possible broken leg.

Cranberry Twp.

Feb. 3 — Maua Genvieve Romano, 35, of Wexford, was charged with misdemeanor accident involving damage following a Dec. 15 crash. Police said Romano crashed into a vehicle and left the scene.

Feb. 3 — Chisom Linda Crawford, 33, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanor retail theft following a Jan. 30 incident. Police said Crawford stole $250 in merchandise from Target.

Feb. 5 — Elizabeth Runser, 63, of Cranberry Township, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a Feb. 5 incident. Police said Runser had a blood alcohol content of 0.229%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Pennsylvania Bureau of Dog Law

Feb. 4 — Emma Sue Parker, 53, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of failing to confine dogs within a premises following a Jan. 25 incident in Butler. Police said Parker’s dogs were running loose in the streets around her home in multiple instances.

Slippery Rock University

Feb. 5 — Findlay Thomas Campbell, 26, of Slippery Rock, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of theft and receiving stolen property following a Jan. 22 incident. Police said Campbell stole $556 from a fraternity.

State police, Butler

Feb. 2 — Police investigated a single-vehicle crash at 12:14 a.m. on Brownsdale Road in Forward Township. Police said Brandon N. Pearce, 23, of Zelienople, fell asleep while driving a Toyota Tundra and struck a utility pole. Pearce and his passenger, Tarah L. Feeney, 27, of Zelienople, were transported to UPMC Passavant Hospital in Cranberry Township with suspected minor injuries.

Feb. 3 — William John Simmons III, 27, of Chicora, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a June 21 traffic stop in Donegal Township. Police said Simmons had a blood alcohol content of 0.186%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Feb. 3 — William Va McCollums IV, 32, of New Castle, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of simple assault and trespass following an Oct. 11 incident in Washington Township. Police said McCollums gave a woman an eye injury with a door and was in a building where he was not permitted.

Feb. 5 — Jessica Marie Matuke, 35, of New Castle, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of simple assault and drug paraphernalia possession following a Feb. 5 incident in Franklin Township. Police said Matuke gave a man a cut on the right side of his face. The affidavit does not mention drug paraphernalia.

Feb. 5 — Jessica Marie Matuke, 35, of New Castle, was charged with felony contraband possession and one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a Feb. 5 incident in Butler. Police said Matuke was concealing suspected crack cocaine and related paraphernalia while entering Butler County Prison.

Feb. 5 — John Hansbury Jr., 47, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following a Feb. 5 incident in Franklin Township. Police said Hansbury left scrapes and scratches on a woman’s face.

Feb. 5 — Kaden Yates Scherer, 23, of Petrolia, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following an Aug. 16 incident in Petrolia. Police said Scherer had a blood alcohol content of 0.121%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Feb. 5 — Tai Minh Phan, 57, of Brooklyn, Md., was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a Dec. 8 traffic stop in Butler Township. Police said Phan had a blood alcohol content of 0.153%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Feb. 5 — Skyler Brady Gray, 21, of Cadogan, was charged with three misdemeanor DUI counts following a Sept. 13 traffic stop in Butler Township. Police said Gray tested positive for THC and had a blood alcohol content of 0.094%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Feb. 10 — Police investigated a two-vehicle crash at 10:57 a.m. on South Pike Road in front of Arby’s in Buffalo Township. Police said Ihor Havryluk, 88, of Freeport, driving a Chevrolet Equinox, struck the Chevrolet Equinox of Michael P. Sokol Jr., 28, of Tarentum. Sokol was transported to Allegheny Valley Hospital with a suspected minor injury.
