Barbara Walters
Barbara E. Walters, 85, of Grove City, formerly of Renfrew, peacefully passed away on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026.
Born Sept. 8, 1940, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late John Tucci and Juliette Shaffer Tucci.
Barb was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was also a popular resident of Quality Life Services nursing home in Grove City, where friends and staff enjoyed her artwork and the beaded bracelets she made and gifted to everyone she met.
She was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by two sons, David Walters, and his wife, Penny, of Slippery Rock, and Scott Walters, of Los Angeles, Calif.; two grandchildren, Katie O’Leary, and her husband, Aaron, of Butler, and Alexander Walters, and his wife, Elise, of Pittsburgh; one great-granddaughter, Jade Christine O’Leary; and one brother, John Tucci.
In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Walters, who passed away Feb. 19, 1998; two daughters, Christine Studeny and Sheila Price; one son, William “Billy” Walters; one grandson, Joseph Studeny; one brother; and her longtime companion, George Straynick.
WALTERS — Friends of Barbara E. Walters, who died Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026, will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, at MARTIN FUNERAL HOME SOUTH SIDE, 429 Center Ave., Butler.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, at All Saints Parish, St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 429 Center Ave., Butler, with the Rev. Kevin C. Fazio officiating.
Burial will take place in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
