Blair Paul Cummins
Blair Paul Cummins, 86, of Homer City died Monday at Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, Pa.
Born Dec. 14, 1921, in Indiana, Pa., he was the son of Blair Cummins and Buelah Hanna Cummins.
He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Indiana. He was a life member of VFW Post 1989 of Indiana, a member of BPOE 406, and a life member of Clymer American Legion.
Mr. Cummins was an Army veteran of World War II. He was an avid golfer and loved sports cars.
He had worked for R&P Coal Co., Sam Jack Co. and Harry Neal Trucking.
Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Virginia T. (Roadarmel) Cummins of Homer City; a son, James P. Cummins of Elizabethville; a daughter, Rebecca A. Kimmel of Saxonburg; a son, Donald L. Cummins of San Diego, Calif.; grandchildren Allison Higgins, Corinne Cummins, Susanne Cummins, Matthew Cummins, Matthew Kimmel and Jennifer Rhodes; and great-grandchildren Olivia Higgins, Jack Higgins, Leah Minnich, Cassidy Kimmel and Kaylin, Emma, Molly and Evan Rhodes.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Virginia Lynne Cummins, in 1965; brothers, Richard and William Cummins; and his parents.
<B>CUMMINS </B>— In keeping with the wishes of Blair Paul Cummins, who died Monday, Aug. 11, 2008, there will be no visitation. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Aug. 31 at Christ Episcopal Church, Indiana. Father William Geiger will officiate. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.Arrangements are being handled by <B>James F.
