Time capsule
Karen McCloy, of Zelienople, angled a 19-inch rainbow trout from underneath a sheet of ice covering the lake at Zelienople-Harmony Sportsmen’s Club on Sunday, Jan. 30, 2000.
About a dozen people were fishing on the lake that day, which was topped by about 7 or 8 inches of ice thanks to below-freezing temperatures that swept the area at the time.
