Farone

Ada B. Farone, 83, of Roseville, Bradys Bend Township, Armstrong County, died Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Oct. 7, 1926, in McGrann, Armstrong County, she was the daughter of Raymond O. and Ruth E. (Snyder) Edwards.

She was the wife of the late Frank P. "Froggie" Farone, who she married Sept. 9, 1946.

Mrs. Farone was a 1945 Kittanning High School graduate.

She enjoyed cooking, baking, traveling and camping.

She had worked at Magnetics in East Butler as a tester for more than 30 years.

She was a member of the St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church of Bradys Bend and the church's Young at Heart Club. She also belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 488, Bradys Bend.

Surviving are two daughters, Connie Campbell and her husband, Don, of Roseville and Yvonne Welton and her husband, Carl, of Roseville; a sister, Raylene Wagner of Freeport; a brother, Robert Edwards and his wife, Mary Jane, of Worthington; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Edwards of Furnace Run and Soon Ae Edwards of Chambersburg; and dear friend, Joseph Pullano Jr. of Butler. Also surviving are three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank P. "Froggie" Farone, who died Sept. 27, 1987; three brothers, Harold, James and Bill Edwards; a grandson, Eric Welton; and a sister-in-law, Betty Edwards.

Buechele Funeral HOME</B>, 105 Fourth St., East Brady. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Bradys Bend, with Father Ron Cyktor, pastor of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, officiating.
