Steven M. Shults

Steven M. Shults, 44, of Seven Fields, Mars, died Monday afternoon at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born in Buffalo, N.Y., Aug. 5, 1965, he was the son of Josephine Rosica Shults of Williamsville, N.Y., and the late William R. Shults.

An accountant, Mr. Shults was a controller for Azcar Inc. in Canonsburg.

He had been a volunteer at Allegheny General Hospital, was the chief financial officer for the Greater Good Foundation and was a board member of the Chartiers Community Mental Health and Retardation Centers in Bridgeville.

He was a member of St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

He was the beloved husband of Jennifer Hudson Shults, who he married May 22, 1993; loving father of Joseph A. (13), Kerry M. (11) and James M. Shults (8); son of Josephine Shults of Williamsville, N.Y.; and brother of William R. (Gail) Shults of Gaithersburg, Md., Mary Jo Shults of Hamburg, N.Y., Robert J. Shults (Kelly) of Wildomar, Calif., Richard G. Shults (Martha) of Needham, Mass., Thomas P. Shults of Newark, Calif., and James C. Shults (Laurie) of North Brook, Ill. Also nieces, nephews and many in-laws and friends survive.

<B>SHULTS</B> — Friends of Steven M. Shults, who died Monday, Aug. 24, 2009, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the St. Kilian Church at the Mars with the Rev.
