Knoch student services director retiring

A long time employee and leader at Knoch School District is stepping down after serving in multiple roles for over 20 years.

The district announced Greg Hajek, the current director of student services, will retire at the end of this school year.

Hajek was first hired in 2002 to be principal of the then-South Butler Primary School. He held that role for 11 years before taking on his current role.

“We thank him for his dedication and leadership, and wish him all the best in his well-earned retirement,” the district said.

Gregory Boerio, the current principal at Knoch Primary School, will replace Hajek as the next director of special services at Knoch School District.

“Dr. Boerio brings a wealth of experience in special education leadership and school improvement and we look forward to the positive impact he will continue to make in this new role,” the district said.
