Patricia Cunningham
Patricia L. Cunningham, 55, of Butler was received into God's arms on Saturday as the result of an automobile accident.
She was born Sept. 27, 1953, in Butler, the daughter Margaret Doherty Klugh and the late James B. Klugh.
Patricia was a 1971 graduate of Butler High School.
She had attended Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church and Westminster Presbyterian Church PCA.
She was a member of the Crimson Chapeau Cuties Chapter of the Red Hat Society, treasurer of the Butler Poetry Group and attended the Tanglewood dance class on Thursdays.
She was an avid reader and did research on many subjects. She enjoyed traveling, bicycling, playing the organ, dancing, photography, designing and making Barbie clothes, animals and collecting postcards. She mostly enjoyed spending time with her friends.
She retired from the BRIOH Division of Civil Service Commission in Boyers in 1981.
Surviving are her mother, Margaret Klugh of Butler; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph R. Cunningham, who she married July 8, 1981. He died Dec. 31, 2002. She also was preceded in death by her father, James B. Klugh, who died May 31, 2006; and an infant sister, Mary Kathryn Klugh.
<B>CUNNINGHAM</B> — Friends of Patricia L. Cunningham, who died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at <B>Young Funeral Home Ltd.</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
