Norma B. Vidic Davis, 97, of West Sunbury, passed away Thursday, Dec. 25, 2025, at the family farm after a yearlong illness.

She was born July 4, 1928, to the late Lewis B. and Margaret (Wilson) Brown.

Norma graduated from Concord High School in 1947. She went on to graduate from Butler Business College in 1948. She was employed by Speck and Falk as a business secretary until her marriage to Edward T. Vidic on April 4, 1953. He preceded her in death. A number of years after Edward’s passing, Norma remarried Ervin J. Davis Sr., of Chicora, on Oct. 31, 1988. He also preceded her in death.

Norma was a lifelong member of Springdale Lutheran Church, filling in as the pianist for Sunday services as needed. She belonged to the Pennsylvania State Grange and Donegal Grange, serving as their secretary for several years. She also participated with the Boy Scouts as a den mother in her younger years.

Norma, along with her first husband, Edward, and her brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Jean Vidic, owned and operated the former Vidic Bros. Service Station in West Sunbury. She was an avid seamstress known to be able to mend any rip or tear, specializing in work pants, and repaired many pieces of clothing for her grandchildren and their friends. Norma was an accomplished pianist, able to sight read any piece of music. She also enjoyed word search puzzles and sitting in her rocking chair on the farmhouse porch.

Norma is survived by her four children, twin daughters, Cathleen Vidic, of West Sunbury, and Christine (Paul Sr.) Walter and his son, Paul Jr., of Butler; daughter, Lynnea Beatty (Don Heller) and his children, Carla, Kevin and Donnie, of West Sunbury, with whom Norma made her home; and son, Douglas (Sharon) Vidic and her children, Stacy, Dale and Dustin, of Petersburg.

Also surviving are her grandchildren, Kial Vidic, Colton Vidic, Melissa (Steve) Heagy, Jaryn Beatty (Nick Cammisa), Jenna (Paul) Campbell, Seth Beatty (Haylie Helbig), Matthew Walter, Brett (Kelly) Beatty and Mitchell Walter; stepgrandchildren, Jennifer Coughlin Ames and Andrew (Kia) Coughlin; great-grandchildren, Karsen Beatty and his mother, Courtney Catterall, Barrett Campbell, Bentley Campbell, Scarlett Heagy, Ellison Heagy, Leo Cammisa and Hollyn Cammisa; stepgreat-grandchildren, Carsyn Ames (Zach Bauman), Yvonne Coughlin and Ebony Coughlin; sister-in-law, Jean Vidic; nephew-in-law, Dr. Ravi Sachdeva, who took Norma on many vacations; nieces, Debby (John) Thornbury, Cindy (Jack) Grindle, Karen (Keith) Hall, Colette (Mike) Kohlmeyer, Elizabeth (Dale) Fennell and Joann (Prentiss) Mercer; and nephews, Greg (Tina) Glenn and Bill Brown, and all of their families.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward T. Vidic, who passed away Oct. 10, 1981; her second husband, Ervin J. Davis Sr., who passed away Dec. 16, 1995; two grandchildren, Emily Cathleen Walter, who passed away Oct. 4, 1995, and Keith Edward Beatty, who passed away Aug. 22, 2020; her twin sister, Janice Scott; half sister, Emma; half brothers, Kenneth and Merle; daughter-in-law, Eileen Coughlin Vidic; and her niece, Marjorie Scott Sachdeva.
