BRADY TWP — Jennings Environmental Education Center will host a two-day backpacking trip for beginners, open to women and girls ages 16 and older, on Oct. 17 and 18.

Participants will learn the basics of planning and packing for a trip, navigation, selecting gear, learning to filter water from the backcountry and cooking.

The group will hike along the North County Trail in Moraine State Park.
