Robert A. Nicodemus

Robert A. Nicodemus "Archie Bunker," 77, of Portersville died Sunday evening at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born Aug. 25, 1930, in Sandy Lake, he was the son of Walter Brady and Lourene Whipkey Nicodemus.

He was Presbyterian. He had been a self-employed truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Joan McCright Nicodemus of Portersville, whom he married July 4, 1953, and a sister, Mrs. Gerald(Dorothy) McCormick of New Castle.

He was preceded by two brothers and a sister.

<B>NICODEMUS</B>— Visitation for Robert A. Nicodemus "Archie Bunker," who died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008, will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at <B>The Jay Bryan Funeral Home</B>, 443 Main St., Prospect.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. John Coomber of the Grace Bible Church in New Castle officiating.Burial will be at Greenlawn Burial Estates and Mausoleums.
