Beatrice ‘Honey’ King
Beatrice E. “Honey” King, 96, of Evans City, died Thursday morning, Dec. 4, 2025, at her home with her family by her side.
Born in Mars on April 1, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Bertha Davidson Eminger.
Mrs. King was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Evans City, where she served in many positions. Her favorite was singing in the choir, which she did until the spring of 2025.
Mrs. King loved cooking, fishing, camping, crosswords and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her two sons, George “Tony” (Kathy) King and Jeffery (Amy) King; her two daughters, Pamela (Bob) Moyer and Beverly (Neal) Critchlow; her 29 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George; her daughter, Sandy Critchlow; her son, Gregory King; grandson, Alan King; and granddaughter, Lydia Critchlow.
KING — Friends of Beatrice E. “Honey” King, who died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025, will be received for visitation from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8, at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 202 Van Buren St., Evans City, PA 16033, with the Rev. Brandon Johns officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in her honor.
