Virginia C. Hall
Virginia C. Hall, 87, a resident of the YWCA Personal Care Home, formerly of Cabot R.D. 1 and Slippery Rock, died Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born July 31, 1920, in Winchester, Ky., she was a daughter of the late James P. and Mary Nugent McGee.
Virginia was a homemaker and a devoted mother and grandmother.
She was a lifelong member of the St. John Roman Catholic Church, Coylesville, near Fenelton, and had been a member of the St. Peter Catholic Church in Slippery Rock while living there.
Her husband, Ralph A. Hall Sr., who she married May 18, 1937, died Dec. 7, 2001. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Pauline Hall; a granddaughter; a grandson and his wife; a great-grandson; a great-great-grandson; two brothers; and four sisters.
Surviving are five sons and their wives, Ralph A. Hall Jr. and Bonnie Hall of Slippery Rock, Steven and Donna Hall of Sarver, Glenn and Carol Hall of Chicora, Roger and Peggy Hall of Slippery Rock and Roland and Sharon Hall of Cabot; three daughters, Jean Snow Barger and her husband, Carl "Gundy" Barger, of Petrolia, Carol Wagner and her husband, Richard Wagner, of Butler, and Linda Fellers of Chicora; 24 grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 18 step-great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; seven step-great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Hall, who died Sunday, July 6, 2008, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at the St. John Roman Catholic Church, Coylesville, 668 S. Clearfield Road, Fenelton, with the Rev.
