Ethel Davis Warsing

Ethel Mae Davis Warsing, 83, formerly of Prospect, passed away Thursday evening at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Dec. 20, 1924, in Worth Township and was the daughter of Joseph and Emma Davis.

She was a homemaker and a life member of the Zion Baptist Church of Slippery Rock.

She is survived by two stepsons, Charles "Ted" Warsing of Butler and John Warsing of Florida; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Howard (Marilyn) McCloud of New Castle; seven step-grandchildren; 13 step-great-grandchildren; two step-great-great- grandchildren; and several nieces.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Archie "Ben" Warsing, who passed away Feb. 2, 1982. She also was preceded in death by five brothers, two sisters and one step-grandson.

<B>WARSING</B> — Visitation for Ethel Mae Davis Warsing, who died Thursday, Oct. 2, 2008, will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday with the funeral service to follow at 4 p.m. at the <B>Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home</B>, 387 Main St., Prospect. The Rev. Tom Meling, her church pastor, will officiate.
