Kathryn 'Jean' McCandless Kerr
Kathryn "Jean" McCandless Kerr, 65, of Slippery Rock Township, died Friday at her home.
She was born May 29, 1943, the daughter of Joseph Edward and Kathryn Elvira Reddick McCandless.
Mrs. Kerr was a homemaker and had formerly been employed at The Medicine Shop in Grove City, where she delivered medicines to store customers.
She enjoyed playing bingo and video games. She also enjoyed fishing and camping.
She is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Lester Kerr, Sr., whom she married Nov. 4, 1964; her mother, Kathryn E. Reddick McCandless of Slippery Rock; three daughters, Linda J. Perry and her husband, Nicholas, of Grove City, Tammy S. Brown of Slippery Rock and Betsy L. Welsh and her husband, Craig, of Slippery Rock; two sons, William L. Kerr Jr. of Mercer and Joseph E. Kerr of Slippery Rock; a brother, Robert L. McCandless and his wife, Darla, of Slippery Rock; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father.
<B>KERR —</B> Friends of Kathryn "Jean" McCandless Kerr, who died Friday, Dec. 26, 2008, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the <B>SMITH FUNERAL HOME,</B> 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
