Mary M. Doughty, 94, of Saxonburg, died Thursday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.

Born Oct. 31, 1914 in Gallitzin, she was the daughter of Albert and Rose Burden Palko.

She had worked as head of housekeeping for the former Graham's Nursing Home. She was a member of St. Victor's Roman Catholic Church in Bairdford, where she had been a member of the Christian Mothers. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and needlepoint.

Surviving are three sons, Edward J. Doughty of Rimersburg, William J. Doughty of Butler and Charles J. Doughty of Butler; three grandchildren, Amanda J. Doughty, Colleen Doughty and Christie M. Pierce; and two step-grandchildren, Donnie and Timothy Logan.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Maurice E. Doughty, on July 1, 1970; four brothers and two sisters.

<B>DOUGHTY — </B>Friends of Mary M. Doughty, who died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>FOX FUNERAL HOME,</B> 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at St. Victor's Roman Catholic Church, Bairdford, with the Rev. Bob Coyne officiating.
