Dorothy Kamerer McKee Caldwell, 86, of Terrace Apartments in Butler, formerly of Fenelton, died at 7:39 p.m. Wednesday at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born Dec. 25, 1921 in Fairview, she was the daughter of David Edward Kamerer and Martha Rebecca Bowser Kamerer.

She was a waitress and cook at the Summit Diner for 32 years, National Malibul in Sharon. She was a member of McKee Chapel in Fenelton.

She is survived by a son, James Edward McKee of Butler; a stepson, Charles Henry Sam Caldwell of Warren, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Frank (Jane Victoria) Polichena of Ravenna, Ohio; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Smith and Mrs. Naoma Rose Thompson, both of Butler; and two brothers, Thomas Kamerer of Butler and Franklin Kamerer of Grove City.

She was preceded in death by a son, two sisters and three brothers.

CALDWELL — Friends of Dorothy Kamerer McKee Caldwell, who died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>THOMPSON-MILLERFUNERALHOME</B>, 124 E. North Street in Butler. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Jeremy Andrews of McKee Chapel in Fenelton officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Burial Estates.
