Margaret E. Schott
Margaret E. "Peg" Schott, 94, of Harmony died Monday at the Ellwood City Hospital.
Born Nov. 29, 1914, in Swissvale, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Emma (Burgh) Kress.
Mrs. Schott was an active member of the Zion Lutheran Church.
She loved her family, her church and her friends, which were many. She also loved quilting, birdwatching, crocheting and her flowers.
Mrs. Schott was a crack shot with a .22 rifle.
She is survived by her son, Charles "Fritz" Schott and his wife, Kathy, of Zelienople; her daughter, Stella Neely of Evans City; five grandchildren, Carrie Greathouse, Lorrie Conley, Cindie (Bob) Kolarich, Krista (Kurt) Novak and Jonathan (Beckie) Neely; seven great-grandchildren, Courtney and Clinton Greathouse, John Conley, Juston, Auston and Kyle Kolarich and Megan Neely; and a great-great- grandson, Darryn Conley. She also is survived by family-in-laws, Blaine and Betty Shidemantle, Doris Schott and Helen Schott; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, her husband, John R. Schott, whom she married April 27, 1938, died Dec. 13, 1984. She also was preceded in death by three brothers, Chuck, Harry and Bob Kress.
<B>SCHOTT</B> — Friends of Margaret E. "Peg" Schott, who died Monday, Dec. 29, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home Inc.</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church, 557 Perry Highway (Route 19), Harmony. Friends, please meet at the church.
