Elsie D. Ritenour

Elsie D. Ritenour, 73, of East Brady died at 2:15 p.m. Thursday at her home.

Born April 25, 1935, in Butler County, she was the daughter of the late Lester C. Hall and Jessie L. Reagle Hall.

She attended St. John's Methodist Church. She had worked in the housekeeping departments of Sugar Creek Rest and Slippery Rock University and had driven a school bus for Head Start. Elsie enjoyed riding horses and motorcycles.

Surviving are her husband, Oliver "Pete" Ritenour of East Brady, whom she married April 29, 1989; two daughters, Jessica Crawford of Butler and Heidi Detrie and her husband, John, of Fairview; two sons, William "Billy" Crawford and his wife, Kathryn, of Petrolia, and Shawn Crawford and his wife, Karyn, of Fairview; 12 grandchildren; and two sisters, Rachel McGirr of Slippery Rock and Nevada Kelly and her husband, Burton "Sonny" Kelly of Slippery Rock.

She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.

<B>RITENOUR</B> — A memorial service for Elise D. Ritenour, who died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Methodist Church, Halston Road, Slippery Rock, with the Rev. David Ealy officiating.
