Joanne Klamer
Joanne E. Klamer, 78, of Butler, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025.
She was born in Beaver Falls on May 31, 1947, to the late Lyle and Margaret (Straka) Crider.
Joanne graduated from Beaver High School in 1966, and furthered her education at Butler County Community College in 1987, with an associate degree in science and earned her bachelor’s in education from Slippery Rock University in 1990.
She had different occupations, such as a customer service agent and Realtor, but her true passion was the ministry. She taught both youth and adult Sunday school, as well as preaching the Word of God from the pulpit.
Joanne was known for being kind, independent, resilient and she had a great sense of humor. She loved Jesus and studying the Bible and was a member of Butler Assembly of God Church for 57 years. Joanne enjoyed puzzles, going on adventures and going to the dog park with her dog, Watson.
She was the mother of David, Timothy and Stephen Klamer; and sister of Clyde and Timothy Crider.
Along with her parents, Joanne was preceded in death by her brother, John Crider.
KLAMER — Arrangements for Joanne E. Klamer, who died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025, were made through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
Family and friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at Butler Assembly of God Church, 105 Purvis Road, Butler, PA 16001. Funeral services will immediately follow in the church.
Burial will be held privately at Butler County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Butler Assembly of God Church, in honor of Joanne.
