Anna Curtis
Anna Jean Curtis, 80, of Butler, passed away Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, in the comfort of her home.
She was born May 27, 1945, to the late William Fennell and Irene (Ferne) Udell.
Anna attended Butler High School and later worked at Garden Gate and Roxy’s Diner. She enjoyed crafts, puzzles and quilting. She had a special love for dachshunds, hummingbirds and angels.
She is survived by her husband, William “Dave” Curtis, whom she married March 29, 1986; sons, William Shever and Chuck (Ellen) Shever; grandchildren, Eric, Amanda, Amber, Kevin, Cassie and Chelsea; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, David Fennell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Johnny Shever; sisters, Catherine Jack, Marlene Green and Joyce Sasse; and niece, Cindy Fletcher.
CURTIS — A visitation for Anna Jean Curtis, who died Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, will be held from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler. A funeral service will immediately follow at 7 p.m., with Pastor David Phillips officiating.
A private burial will be held at Greenlawn Burial Estates.
