Hilda C. Geibel, 90, of Butler died Friday at Evie's Country Care Home.

Born Nov. 16, 1917, in Butler, she was a daughter of William and Genevieve Ritzert Wilbert.

She was a homemaker, mother and grandmother and was a member of St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church in Carbon Center.

She enjoyed preparing food and was well known as an excellent cook.

Her husband, Harry L. Geibel, who she married Aug. 28, 1948, preceded her in death Sept. 1, 1998.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Cindy) Morrow of Butler; a son, David W. Geibel of Butler; two grandsons, Jeffrey and Donald Geibel; and numerous nieces and nephews.

An infant daughter and eight brothers preceded her in death.

<B>GEIBEL</B> — Friends of Hilda C. Geibel, who died Friday, March 14, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church in Carbon Center. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Coylesville.Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Pennsylvania Chapter, 100 W. Station Square Drive, Suite 500 Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
