Police reports
The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:
Oct. 14 — Megan Clarice Casey, 46, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a July 13 traffic stop in Clay Township. Police said Casey had a crack rock and a crack pipe.
Oct. 19 — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash around 6 p.m. on Interstate 76 in Cranberry Township. Police said Evan M. Landgraff, 28, of Washington, lost control of a Honda Accord in wet conditions and struck the center cement barrier before being hit by a Freighliner semitruck driven by Azizjon Ishonkulov, 35, of Philadelphia. Police said Landgraff was transported to UPMC Passavant in Cranberry Township with non-life-threatening injuries.
Oct. 23 — Police investigated a theft June 3 in Franklin Township of two plate compactors valued at $5,690 from Stephenson Equipment. Police found similar thefts have occurred throughout the state and even out of state. The investigation, in conjunction with other agencies, is ongoing.
