Florence Grinnik

Florence T. Grinnik, 95, of Meridian, passed peacefully in her sleep Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025, at Concordia at the Orchard.

Born Aug. 23, 1930, in Lyndora, she was a daughter of the late Frolis Miklosovic and Mary Brovnyak Miklosovic

Florence was a secretary at Butler County Community College and retired in 1983. She was a longstanding member of All Saints Parish, St. Conrad Roman Catholic Church, and the Christian Mothers of the church. She was an active volunteer in many parish activities, especially the funeral luncheons and the annual Lenten fish dinners.

She enjoyed gardening and spent most of her time outdoors. She dearly loved her family, and she treasured the many beach vacations they shared.

She is survived by one daughter, Jean Menchyk and her husband, Jim, of Meridian; one son, Robert Grinnik and his wife, Terri, of Cudjoe Key, Fla.; two grandchildren, Daniel Grinnik and his partner, Stephanie Blakely, of Meridian, and Sara Rodgers and her husband, Patrick, and their daughter, Aurora, of Slippery Rock; two sisters, Marylou Miklosovic of Melbourne, Fla., and Rose Dakor of Canton, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Florence was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack Grinnik, who passed away Jan. 17, 2009; one brother; and three sisters.

GRINNIK — There was no visitation for Florence T. Grinnik, who died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025. Services and burial in Butler County Memorial Park were private.

Donations in memory of Florence Grinnik may be made to All Saints Parish, 128 N. McKean St., Butler, PA 16001.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of MARTIN FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.
