Judith Fiset
Judith Marie (Minto) Fiset, of Barnstable, Mass., passed away Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025, at home in the loving care of her husband of 59 years, Donald Fiset. She was 81.
Judy was born in Ambridge, Pa. on Nov. 12, 1943.
She attended Mount Mercy College in Pittsburgh, and graduated with a degree in English. While in college, she worked with friends one summer in Provincetown, where she met her future husband.
After college, Judy became a schoolteacher in the Pittsburgh school system. She then married Donald, and they moved back to New England to start a family.
After she and Donald raised their two children, Judy continued her career as a teacher and then became a librarian at the Osterville Free Library and the Sturgis Library. She and her husband enjoyed their retirement and traveled throughout Europe together. Her greatest joys were reading, spending time with family and traveling.
In addition to her husband, Judy is survived by daughter, Andrea; son, Christopher; brothers, George and Ronald; and grandsons, Addison and Asher.
At her request, services shall be private.
In remembrance of Judy's life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to the VNA of Cape Cod.
