Gladine 'Deanie' Bell
Gladine "Deanie" Bell, 86, formerly of Boyers, died June 14 while living at the Lake Mary Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lake Mary, Fla.
Born in New Bethlehem, May 29, 1922, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Ramer Walls.
Shortly after her birth, the Walls family moved to the Slippery Rock area, where she attended the Foltz Hill School and was known as an avid skater at Etna Springs Roller Rink. That is where she met Lewis Bell, whom she married in 1940.
After they married, the Bells lived in Boyers until retiring to Central Florida.
The Bells had just celebrated 53 years marriage prior to Mr. Bell's death in 1993.
She is survived by her son, Fred, and his wife, Antonetta, of Boyers; a daughter, Georgia Deal of Lake Mary; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandsons.
She also was proceeded in death by five sisters and three brothers.
<B>BELL </B>— A memorial service for Gladine "Deanie" Bell, who died Saturday, June 14, 2008, is being planned for October.
