Nancy J. Walborn, 91, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2025.

She was born Oct. 21, 1933, in Butler, to the late Archie S. Huselton and Irene L. (Cain) Huselton.

Nancy was a 1952 graduate of Butler High School. She was a sweet, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be sadly missed. She was passionate about her church life and missions. Nancy had the heart and soul of an angel. She loved unconditionally and was an inspiration to all. Through her wisdom, gentle words, her amazing home-cooked meals and her unwavering faith, she taught us all that God, family and love are life’s greatest treasures.

She is survived by her husband, Henry J. Walborn Sr., whom she married June 20, 1952; sons, James (Jody) Walborn and John (Lisa) Walborn; daughter, Patricia (Mike) Best; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley Ann Walborn Ambroziak; her grandson, Mike Best Jr.; her brothers, Howard and Kenneth Huselton; and her sisters, Doris Wilson and Jean Walborn.

WALBORN — Visitation for Nancy J. Walborn, who died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2025, will be held from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 10, at the funeral home, with Pastor Nathan Walter, of Penns Valley God's Missionary Church, officiating.

She will be laid to rest privately at Greenlawn Burial Estates.
