Mary E. Lascuola, 90, of Cabot, formerly of Butler, passed away Monday, Oct. 6, 2025, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Bradys Bend on April 10, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Giuseppe Sita and Annie Infantino Sita.

Mary worked as a registered nurse at the Butler VA Medical Center.

She was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, Butler, where she was active in the 55 & Alive and the Rosary Makers. She also belonged to the Meridian Woman’s Club and the Red Hat Society.

She is survived by her four loving children, John Paul Lascuola, of Butler, Mary Ann Lascuola, of Butler, Gina Ceschini and her husband, David, of Lower Burrell, Pa., and David John Lascuola, of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mary was the sole survivor of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Anthony Lascuola, who passed away Jan. 26, 1994; five brothers; and two sisters.

LASCUOLA — Friends of Mary E. Lascuola, who died Monday, Oct. 6, 2025, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, at MARTIN FUNERAL HOME SOUTH SIDE, 429 Center Ave., Butler.

The Pennsylvania Nurses Honor Guard, Butler Chapter, will conduct a service at 3:45 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 10, at All Saints Parish, St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 432 Center Ave., Butler, with the Rev. Kevin C. Fazio officiating.

Burial will take place in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
