Barbara “Barb” L. Briggs, 67, of Butler, formerly of Cabot and Saxonburg, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025, with family at her side.

Born Jan. 31, 1958, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Donald A. and Frances G. Briggs. Barb was a 1976 graduate of Knoch High School and a 1980 graduate of Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa.

Barb was employed as an executive administrative assistant, beginning her career in Denver, Colo. and eventually returning to the Pittsburgh area, where she worked with various companies and organizations, completing her career with Cabot Methodist Church.

Barb is survived by two brothers, Scott (Susan) Briggs and Robert (Kathie) Briggs; her niece, Kristi (Ryan) Perry; and four nephews, Andrew (Dana) Briggs, Wesley (Brooke) Briggs, Rob (Jenn) Briggs and Nick (Kyilah Jones) Briggs. She is also survived by seven grandnieces and grandnephews and a number of cousins.

BRIGGS — All services for Barbara “Barb” L. Briggs, who died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025, will be held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

Donations may be made to the Butler Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053, in honor of Barb.
