There are several fall festivals coming up that you can take family to. Typically they have activities for the children and have either no entrance fee or a small fee for childrens events. For instance, I'm not sure what month it is but I know for certain that Franklin, Pa has an apple festival. It's a great place to hang for the day and enjoy crafts. The kids enjoy walking around and interacting with other children as well. There are a couple other things that come to mind in the fall.... there are several events in Kittanning near the river and you can go apple picking, peach picking or berry picking at some of the local nurserys. If you like apple cider, there are a few presses where you can pick and press your own. It's a good time for adults and kids alike. Shram I know used to have a corn maze and hay ride. It was a great place to get many beautiful pictures. Or you can just get in your car and drive a lil while and go to Volant. There are lots of Amish around that area that have amazing displays of crafts and good food. I will let you know if I think of any more. Anyone else?
