David B. 'Bruce' Boyer

David B. "Bruce" Boyer, 66, of Fawn Township passed away Sunday in the UPMC St. Margaret Hospital, Aspinwall.

He was born Nov. 8, 1942, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late John and Norma Rankin Boyer.

Bruce was a Vietnam War veteran, serving in the U.S. Air Force.

He retired from central supply at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital.

Bruce attended the Center United Methodist Church in Fawn Township.

He enjoyed boating, collecting lighthouses, NASCAR, attending antique car shows and the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Concetta "Tina" Angel Boyer; several nieces and nephews; and his dear friend Paul Cashdollar.

<B>BOYER </B>— Friends of David B. "Bruce" Boyer, who died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 10 a.m. Thursday in the <B>Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home Inc.</B>, 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights, 724-224-8688. Officiating will be his pastor, the Rev. James Gascoine.
