Heinsberg

Sidney Lynn Heinsberg, 66, of Fombell, extraordinary wife, mother and friend, died Saturday at the Passavant Retirement Community, Zelienople, surrounded by her family.

Born Dec. 6, 1943, in William-sport, she was the daughter of G. Lewis and Thelma (Pries) Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Tony Miller.

Sidney, along with her husband, owned and operated two GNC Stores for 16 years.

She was a member of the English Lutheran Church, Zelienople, where she had served as director of Christian education and youth. Sidney also was a member of the Discovery Christian Church, Cranberry Township.

She was passionate about many things, including classical music, gardening, cooking and card club. Her deepest joys were found in her love for family, friends and animals.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Richard A. Heinsberg; six children, Todd Heinsberg of Slippery Rock, Kim Fawcett (Tom) of Harrisville, Kate Heinsberg (Aragorn) of Washington, Maggie Steinbach (David) of Marion Township, Mandy Ondek (Jimmy) of Ellwood City and Kurt Heinsberg (Tina) of Fombell; a brother, Larry Miller of Montana; eight grandchildren, Steven Fawcett, Irene Heinsberg, Ariol, Dante and Salvera Heinsberg, Roslyn and James Steinbach and Marlin Ondek; and two sisters-in-law, Judith Heinsberg of Ross Township and Carolyn Bushman of Wisconsin. She also is survived by her surrogate son, Glenn McConnell; her dear cousins; other family members; friends, and her GNC family.

Sidney was full of life and unconditional love. She touched the lives of so many people and will be greatly missed.

<B>HEINSBERG </B>— A memorial service for Sidney Lynn Heinsberg, who died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, will be held at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, March 7 in the sanctuary at English Lutheran Church, 200 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Friends will be received in the Fellowship Hall of the church from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday and also immediately following the service.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Passavant Retirement Community, 401 S.
