Eight fire departments were called to a blaze that worked its way into the attic of a home on Spring Run Road in Center Township Wednesday. The fire was reported at 7:40 p.m. and crews were still fighting it at 10 p.m. No injuries were reported. The Center Township, Oneida Valley, Chicora, East Butler, West Sunbury, Oakland Township, Butler Township and Slippery Rock fire departments responded along with Butler Ambulance Service. No other details were available at press time.
